Richard Rose

Richard’s life began on November 10, 1932 in South Bend, the son of Dale L. and Thelma V. (Enyeart) Rose. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Richard worked for his father at the Western Auto Store in Dowagiac and he had been employed by United Airlines in South Bend. Richard attended Sister Lakes Community Church and had been active in Boy Scouts in Dowagiac. Richard is survived by daughter in laws Amy Rose of MN, and Tammy Rose of FL, several grandchildren and his brother Jack (Jane) Rose of Momence, IL. Richard passed away on May 28, 2011 at the Timbers of Cass County. He is preceded in death by two sons Dale A. Rose and Richard A. Rose II. His family will gather with friends from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday June 9th at Yazel & Clark Chapel where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. led by Pastor Doug Cuthbert. He will be laid to rest in South Lawn Cemetery in South Bend. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Sister Lakes Community Church.
