James Walter Berry

James's life began on January 16, 1967 in Tillamook, OR, the son of James R. and Evelyn (Coms) Berry. He served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Saratoga in the Persian Gulf War. James was the owner of Pocket Markers Plus, a billiard supply company and Business Cards, Etc in Coldwater. He is survived by two children Ashley and Brian Berry of Decatur and a sister Judy Johnson of Niles, MI. James passed away on Tuesday April 5, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. His family will receive friends on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel, Dowagiac, where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. led by Pastor Thomas Stout of the Volinia Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest in Fort Custer National Cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to his children.
