Dorothy Pauline Frantz

Dorothy's life began on November 6, 1920 in Sault Sainte Marie, MI; the daughter of Paul and Madeline (Ware) Hickey. She was united in marriage to Donald Frantz on May 10, 1943 in Tampa, FL. Dorothy was a homemaker, taking care of her family and home. She was an avid bridge player, and loved dancing, reading and enjoyed film. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her husband of 67 years, Donald Frantz of Niles, her children Diane (James) Leiman of Bloomfield Hills, Carolyn ( Kary) Callahan of Rochester, IN, and Richard (Teri) Frantz of Dowagiac, grandchildren Jeff (Richard) Leiman, Chris (Debbie) Leiman, Jon ( Kerry) Leiman, Jennifer (Matt) Jones, Stacey O'Hara, Ashley Jones, Joshua (Amelia) Frantz, Justin (Sureyya) Frantz, Aislinn Frantz and Anna Callahan; great grandchildren Katie Leiman, Charles Leiman, Eliza Beresh, Ethan O'Hara, Sema Frantz, and Ayla Frantz. Dorothy passed away on Monday March 28, 2011 at West Wood of Niles. She is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Private family services will be held at a later date.
