Lucille's Obituary
Lucille was born in Madras, OR, on August 18, 1915, the daughter of James and Sarah (Versaw) Phillips. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1935. She married James Prillwitz in Benton Harbor on May 7, 1937 and they enjoyed 62 years together. Lucille was a homemaker and partner with her husband in farming for many years in Sister Lakes. She and her husband also spent winters in Florida. The last six winters, she spent at White Oaks Assisted Living in Lawton where she continued her zest for life with all the fun activities and the wonderful care she received from their staff. In summers, she returned to the farm at Sister Lakes and her flower gardens. Her family was her life, she loved the many family get togethers. She was a charter member of the Progressive Home Economics Club and so enjoyed their monthly meetings, only missing the last two months.
