Dennis Everett Weiss

Dennis Everett Weiss, age 65, of Niles, passed away at his home on July 4, 2010, at 6:40 p.m. of natural causes. Dennis's life began on July 18, 1944, in Bremen, Ind., the son of Rosco and Lola (Newcomer) Weiss. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Peppers on May 14, 1977, in Bremen. Dennis served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 until 1971. He was a member of the American Legion in Lakeville, Ind. Dennis worked for 28 years at N H Vending and Ford Distribution. His loving family includes his wife of over 30 years, Lorraine Weiss of Niles; a daughter, Dawn (Bobby) Phillips of Niles; grandchildren Dennis Allen and Ashley Phillips, brothers Harley (Nancy) Weiss of North Liberty, Ind., and Wayne (Betty) Weiss of Bremen, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Roberta Weiss of Bremen, Ind., and the family of Rufus and Emma Peppers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosco and Lola Weiss, and a brother, Stanley Weiss. A private memorial service was held. Yazel & Clark Chapel is serving the family.
