Robert Nathaniel Brown

Robert's life began February 7, 1947 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the son of Nathaniel W. and Ruth N. (Dunning) Brown. He graduated from Niles High School in 1965. He was united in marriage to Kathryn Louise Jackson on January 1, 1998 at Bethesal Fellowship Church in Elkhart. Robert retired from Southwest Michigan College and Cass School District. His loving family includes his wife Kathryn Louise “Aunt B” Brown of Dowagiac, their children Verna Eisenhart of Chicago, Cora Lee Graham of Niles, Josephine Cole of Niles, Robert Nathaniel Brown, Jr.; of Niles, Jessica “J.C.” Riley of Niles, and Scott Jackson of Buchanan, his brother Wilburn “Bud” Brown of Niles; 14 grandchildren and one great grandson. Robert passed away on May 26, 2010 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Ruth Brown, his son John Brown and his great-granddaughter Rebecca Cole. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm led by Captain Tracey Walters from the Salvation Army at Yazel & Clark Chapel. He will be laid to rest in Missions Hills Cemetery in Niles.
