Catherine Lamb

Catherine's life began on April 4, 1964 in Dowagiac, MI, the daughter of Dale and Shirley (Hauck) Fritz. She was a 1982 high honors graduate of Dowagiac Union High School. She was united in marriage to Scott Lamb on June 29, 1985 at Silver Creek United Methodist Church in Dowagiac. Catherine owned Cats Day Care for over sixteen years where she touched so many lives. Cathy enjoyed life. She was a Girl Scout Leader for both of her daughters. She also was a 4-H Leader for Cats and Photography. Cathy was also a photographer and took wedding and senior pictures. She was a faithful member of the Pokagon United Methodist Church. Her greatest joy was her family her husband Scott and her daughters Brooke and Danielle Lamb both of Dowagiac.Also surviving are her father Dale Fritz of Fountain, MI; her brothers Jeff, Kenny & Gary; and her sister Mary Ann; uncle Kenny (Marcia) Reed of Dowagiac and many other relatives. Cathy passed away Thursday October 7, 2009 at Lakeland Continuing Care in St. Joseph, MI. She is preceded in death by her mother Shirley Fritz. Her family will gather for a graveside service at 3 pm on Friday October 9, 2009 at Riverside Cemetery led by Pastor Patty Hass. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.
