Ina's Obituary

Ina’s life began on April 12, 1919 in Wayne Twp of Cass County the daughter of Amberson and Mabel (Julian) Huff. She was united in marriage on June 2, 1939 to Joseph Cauffman during WWII. She worked as a sales clerk for Fair Store. Ina was involved in many different things. She was a member of VFW Woman’s Auxiliary, FUMC, and Dowagiac Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Ina was a chef, a baker and enjoyed her flowers; she also enjoyed working with ceramics and rug hooking. Her greatest joy in life was her family which includes her children Sharon Rank of Dowagiac, Jeffery (Patrick Aymar) Cauffman of Big Rapids, Nancy (Steven) Rank of White Pigeon, Casey (Lori) Cauffman of Parksville, MI, her grandchildren Janet Rank, Marie (Richard) Hill, Steven (Tammy) Rank, Diana (Brian) Evans, Kristin Cauffman, Lindsey Cauffman; great grandchildren Matthew Wilder, Mindy Rank, Jared Rank, Colin Rank, Ricky Hill, Colin J, Claire Evan, two favorite nieces Kay Hull, Kay Hadley and nephew Douglas Curtis along with a host of nieces and nephews, sisters Virginia (Jim) Girder of Colon, MI and a host of nephews and nieces. Ina passed away on March 26, 2009 at the Three Rivers Hospital in Three Rivers, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents sister Louella Curtis, brothers Carrol and Cleve Hall, Gene, Herb, Wayne, Pat, Danny Huff, son in law Jerry Rank. Ina’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 31 at 1 pm at McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home led by Pastor Stacey Wilder.
