Lace's Obituary
Lace’s life began on November 21, 1923 in Atulka, Mississippi, the son of Howard and Hester Pulliam. He was a retired steel worker. Lace was united in marriage to the former Iola Reed on December 12, 1994 in Saint Joseph. Lace loved to fish and was a talented Blue’s musician who travelled with his own band. His is survived by his children Stacy Pulliam, and Herbert Pulliam of Dowagiac, and Shirley Gibbs of McPherson, Kansas, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and other relatives. Lace passed away on Saturday November 19, 2011 at the Timbers of Cass County. He is preceded in death by his wife and one son Hal Pulliam. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday led by Pastor Tonnie Blackamore at Second Baptist Church in Dowagiac. Yazel & Clark Chapel is assisting the family.
