Evelyn's Obituary
Evelyn’s life began on June 10, 1918, in Jewett, Ill., the daughter of James Fleet and Charlotte Campbell.Evelyn, 93, of Sister Lakes, worked as a telephone operator in the Chicago area.Her family includes: daughters, Charlotte (Wittorp) Sotnyk of Sister Lakes, Gladys (Robert) McClintock of Sister Lakes, Patricia Ortiz of California and one adopted son, James Granade of Portland, Ore., as well as 16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.Evelyn passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012, at her home. She is preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and two daughters.Her family will gather with friends for a visitation beginning at noon with funeral service to be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Yazel and Clark Chapel in Dowagiac led by Pastor John Kasper.Evelyn will be laid to rest in Keeler Cemetery, Dowagiac.
