Dolores's Obituary
Dolores' life began on January 27, 1927 in Chicago, the daughter of Walter and Marie (Redmirski) Liebner. She worked as a secretary for the American Bar Association and was the co-owner of the Sunrise Café in Sister Lakes from 1984-2005. Dolores was a true survivor as she survived the December 1972 airplane crash near Midway Airport in Chicago. Her loving family includes her son Wayne Pendrey of Sister Lakes, her brother Walter (Betty) Liebner, nieces Kathi (Mike) Popovich, Beth (Dave) Gulvas, Donna (Drew) Batty, Nancy (Frank) Sparano, and Laura (Al) Seliger; and great nieces Kara and Meghan Gulvas, Alyssa and Alexa Batty and Gabrielle Sparano. Dolores passed away at her home on Monday March 28, 2011. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 2nd at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (768 Lincoln Ave, Calumet City, IL) with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City.
