Lucille V. Mallory, 94, formerly of St Joseph, MI, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at home in New Carlisle, IN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at St. John’s Catholic Church, 600 Columbus Ave., Benton Harbor, with Father Ben Huynh officiating. Burial to follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM, Monday, March 25, 2019 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM. Lucille was born on June 2, 1924, to John & Victoria (Paterak) Rados in Lakewood, OH. She graduated from Pellston High School in Pellston, MI. On September 19, 1944, she married Olin Mallory in Cleveland, OH. Lucille was a secretary at Heath/Zenith Company and retired after 18 years in 1974. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, an associate of the F.O.P. in St. Joseph, former president of the Ladies Auxiliary Emblem Club, associated with the Elks Club - St. Joseph and also volunteered for more than 20 years at Lakeland Health.
Lucille is survived by her children, David (Diane) Mallory of Detroit, Dennis (Barbara) Mallory of Reno, NV and Sandra (Doug) Schick of New Carlisle, IN; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister Arlene Pyjar-Potts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband; son Jerry Mallory; and sisters Lenore Johnson, Florence Walters and Irma Lee Robinson.
