Klaire Horgen

Klaire “GG” Horgen, 71, of Stevensville, passed away, Monday, May 6, 2019 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Rd., Stevensville, with Rev. Jeremy Koehler officiating. Klaire was born October 18, 1947 in Menominee, Michigan to Roy & Lenora (Wieting) Behnke. She graduated from Chippewas Falls High School, Class of 1965. On August 19, 1967, she married Lyle Horgen in Chippewa Falls. After moving to Stevensville, Klaire gained employment at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stevensville where she was currently employed as a bookkeeper. Klaire devoted her life to her Church and to her family. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on their birthdays, holidays and other special occasions, and attending all of their sporting events. Klaire is survived by her husband Lyle; her children-Renee Lawrence of Benton Harbor, Michelle (Ben) Riedel of Stevensville, James Horgen of Holt, Michigan; ten grandchildren-Melissa, Melanie & Jacob (Kylie) Miller, Jacob “JD” Musick, Benjamin, Rachel & Jackson Riedel, Rylie Boyko, Clementine Horgen; two great-grandchildren-Michael Wogoman & Maddaex Riedel; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson Samuel Miller in 1991, her parents, and her brother Dallas Behnke.
