Susan was born October 23, 1962 in West Palm Beach, Florida to John and Barbara Senita. Susan and her parents were active members of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses where they resided. As a young girl, the Senita’s moved to Lake City, Florida where Susan would spend her childhood years. Susan attended school in the Alachua County School System and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1982. On March 14, 1981, Susan made her own dedication to Jehovah God by public baptism in Gainesville, Florida. On January 26, 1984, Susan married her husband of 28 years, Legrand William Bloomstine and resided in Starke, Florida. While living there, Susan and Legrand’s “miracle” baby, Deborah Michelle was born, March 23, 1987, in Gainesville, Florida. In 1990, the family moved to Michigan. She lived her life as an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses her entire life with her main focus being preaching God’s Word to members of the deaf community. Deaf since birth, Susan worked tirelessly teaching others American Sign Language, encouraging them to become interpreters. She was an advocate for the deaf community and always gave of herself to help others in need. Susan worked at the Cascade Wal-Mart for approximately 10 years and even worked as welder for a while. Her love of others reached beyond race, color, gender, disability and distance. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Legrand Bloomstine, her daughter Deborah Bloomstine, and a multitude of friends.
