Carol M.'s Obituary
Carol M. Beehler, age 70, of South Haven, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
She was born November 11, 1940 in Coloma, MI to Floyd and Gladys (Craven) Bronson. She graduated from Coloma High School in 1957. Carol worked as a Registered Nurse at Martin Luther Memorial Home, Bronson Hospital, and Memorial Mission in North Carolina. Carol’s latest place of employment was at South Haven Community Hospital for 17 years before her retirement. In addition to being a dedicated nurse, Carol enjoyed working in the flower gardens.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kerry Jo Ridley in 1992, and one brother, Dale Bronson.
She is survived by her husband – Ken Beehler of South Haven, Mi., and two daughters – Susanne DiVanni of St. Joseph, MI., and Dena (Tim) Garland of Coloma, MI., five grandchildren – John, James, Lexie, Alison, and Meghan, two great grandchildren – Ryan and Elyssa, and three sisters – June Mattson of Coloma, MI., Barb Rodewall of Benton Harbor, MI., and Pam (Russ) Stewart of Benton Harbor, MI.
Funeral services will be at Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 1650 Bainbrigde Center Road, Watervliet, MI 49098. with Rev.Miryan Hammond officiating. Burial will take place at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul’s Memorial Fund or Wing’s of Mercy, 100 Pine South St. Suit 393 Zeeland, MI 49464.
