Alice's Obituary
Alice M. Gildea, 90, of South Haven died Sunday, December 5 at South Haven Community Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1920 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Frank and Ruby (Galbreath) Shugars. Alice married Lloyd Gildea on June 3, 1940 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She enjoyed sewing and when able she working in her yard. Alice also enjoyed meeting friends for coffee at the McDonalds at Wal-mart.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Lloyd Gildea. Daughter – Lynette Gildea in 1954. Two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her three sons – Tom (Sharon) Gildea of Manassis, Virginia, Timm (Pat) Gildea and Matt (Michelle) Gildea both of South Haven, Michigan. Eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Memorial services is scheduled for Wednesday, June 29, at Hope Cemetery in Texas Township near Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions can be made to Al-Van Humane Society. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
