Thomas Paul Bachman

Thomas Paul Bachman, 57, of South Haven passed away at home Thursday, October 14, 2010 surrounded by his family.
Tom is survived by his wife Dianne, whom he married August of 1982 in Richmond, Texas. Son Jonathon (Suzanne) of Owosso, MI. Daughters Karen “KC” (Tom) Williams and Michelle Bachman both of South Haven, MI. He is preceded in death along with his parents by his son, Timothy Bachman who died in 1970. Tom enjoyed his grandsons Jackson, Griffin and Tayden of South Haven, MI. Granddaughter Natalie and grandson Jadon Bachman of Owosso, MI.
Tom was born in South Haven, Michigan to Leo and Gloria Bachman on November 13, 1952 and worked as a talented carpenter spending his last working years building bridges for Anlaan Construction.
Tom was past exalted ruler of the Elks BPOE 1509 where he created many lasting friendships. One of Tom’s favorite past-times was coaching Michelle’s softball teams. He was proudest in 1995 when KC became Miss South Haven. Hunting with friends was a yearly highlight. His most joyful moments were those spent with Dianne.
Tom is also survived by his in-laws, Casey and Irene Wiacek. Sisters, and brother in laws include, Carolyn (Dave) Newcomb, Patti (Cliff) Waite, and Chuck Wiacek.
Tom was privileged with the dedicated care & love given him by his care givers Amanda and Tammy. The support of the Hospice Team of Cindy, Alcione and Pastor Garrett will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of his Life service will be held Sunday, October 17 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunny Brook Resort on Phoenix Road. Followed by a luncheon and fellowship. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
