Warren's Obituary
Warren Evans Sr., 52, of Kalamazoo died Sunday, March 7 at home.
He was born May 10, 1957 in Gary, Indiana to Steve and Lillie (Johnson) Evans. Warren graduated from Horace Mann High School in Gary, Indiana. He married Brenda Williams. Warren worked for the Plumber and Pipefitters Local Union #357. Warren enjoyed fishing, was an avid chess player, motorcycles and love for his family. Warren was a member of the Christian Life Center of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his father – Steve Evans, Sister – Sandra Neal and brother – Ricky Evans.
He is survived by his wife – Brenda Evans. Three children – Anissa Pugh of Indianapolis, Indiana, Nicole Graham of San Diego, California, and Warren (Nicole)
Evans Jr. of Park Forest, Illinois. Mother - Lillie Evans of South Haven, Michigan. Three brothers – Edward (Vivian) Evans of Merrillville, Indiana, Thomas Evans of Macon, Georgia, and Bobby Evans of South Haven, Michigan. Three sisters – Janie Vaughn of Detroit, Michigan, Vanessa Wright of Hobart, Indiana, and Shelly Evans of South Haven, Michigan. Seven grandchildren – Tyler, Aaron, Anissa, Cameron, Jamie, Justin, and Jaden. Devoted and loving nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Confidant – Carl Young also survives.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 15 at 1:30 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with. A wake will take place at the funeral home from 12:30 – 1:30.
