William's Obituary
William A. Jewell, 66, of South Haven Beloved father, grandfather and husband was received into the arms of our Lord Thursday, January 21, 2010. William passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the South Haven Community Hospital.
William was born on July 10, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska to William and Mary (Langfeldt) Jewell. William retired from Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in 2002. William was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband who loved to travel and attend the grandchildren’s school and sporting events. William loved the weekly card game with his closest friends and enjoyed deeply the camaraderie they shared over coffee and breakfast. William will be greatly missed by all the people whom he touched during his life.
William is survived by his beloved wife – Connie Jewell of South Haven, Michigan. Two sons – Bill (Carolyn) Jewell of Jackson, Michigan and Lonnie (Lori) Jewell of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Four grandchildren – William & Ashley of Jackson, Michigan and Aaryn & Shanyn Jewell of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Parents – William and Mary Jewell of Omaha, Nebraska. Sister – Donna McWilliams of Omaha, Nebraska also survives.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 27 from 1-3 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 P.M. Memorial
