Leonard B. "Lenny"'s Obituary
Leonard B. “Lenny” Ellman, 65, of Plainfield, Illinois died Friday, June 19 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois.
He was born June 24, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Leo and Tessie (Applebaum) Ellman. Lenny married Carol Davies on November 13, 1993. Lenny worked as a retail manager for AT & T wireless phones. Lenny enjoyed power boating and cars. Most of all, Lenny enjoyed spending time in South Haven.
He is survived by his wife – Carol Ellman of Plainfield, Illinois. One son – Leo (Terri) Ellman of Apple Valley, Minnesota. One daughter – Andrea Rubinstien of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Step-children – Allegra (Eric) Glienke of Boling Brook, Illinois and Wesley Breska of Plainfield, Illinois. Four grandchildren – Zachary & Samantha Ellman, and Steffen & Max Rubenstien. One sister – Joyce King of Arizona and South Haven, Michigan. One step-brother – Edward Blumstien of Chicago, Illinois and South Haven, Michigan.
A Graveside service will take place on Wednesday, June 24 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Hebrew Congregation Cemetery in South Haven with Mr. Lou Price officiating.
