Mikki's Obituary
Mikki Lee McKane, 46, of South Haven died Sunday, March 8 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born October 20, 1962 in Harbor Beach, Michigan to John “Jack” and Eileen Mary (Brockway) McKane. Mikki graduated from South Haven High School in 1981. Mikki worked for McDonald Restaurant for the past 20 years. In her high school years, Mikki enjoyed showing horses. In the past years she her main focus was on raising her son.
She is preceded in death by a nephew – Connor Jack McKane.
She is survived by one son – Nate (Sheena) McKane of South Haven, Michigan. Two grandchildren – Matthew Sprague and Isabelle McKane. Parents – Jack and Eileen McKane of South Haven, Michigan. Two brothers – Michael (Rochelle) McKane of Joliet, Illinois and Matthew (Kecia) McKane of Milford, Michigan. Two nephews – Alex and Cole McKane. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, from 12:30 – 2 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to South Haven’s Hospice at Home.
