Lorri Schaedig

Lorri Schaedig, 50, of Lacota died Wednesday, January 21 at South Haven Community Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1958 in Rogers City, Michigan to Edwin and Betty (Brege) Schultz. Lorri graduated from Rogers City High School in 1976. Lorri married Don Schaedig on August 15, 1981 in Rogers City, Michigan. She worked for Dr. Leavitt’s office as a receptionist for the past four years. Lorri enjoyed floating in the pool, her flower garden and spending time with her grandsons. Lorri was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Paw Paw.

She is preceded in death by her mother – Betty Schultz who died in 1989 and father-in-law – Elmer Schaedig in 2008.

She is survived by her husband – Don Schaedig of Lacota, Michigan. One son – Shawn (Chandra) Schaedig of Lacota, Michigan. Two daughters – Courtney Schaedig of Pullman, Michigan and Chelsea (Brannon) Tvardek of Maple City, Michigan. Two grandsons – Dustin and Drew. Father – Edwin Schultz of Rogers City, Michigan. Two sisters – Peggy (Karl) Zampich and Rae (Joe) LaLonde both of Rogers City, Michigan. One brother – Randy (Ann) Schultz of Grand Lake, Michigan. Step-Sister – Marilyn (Lanny) Sawdon of Kimball, Michigan and her mother-in-law- Agnes Schaedig and brother-in-law – Gene (Barb) Schaedig of Rogers City, Michigan also survive.

Visitation will be Friday, January 23 from 6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 6:00 P.M. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Whittaker officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
