Chenoa's Obituary
Chenoa Ta-Tanisha Wicker, 34, of Hampton, Georgia formerly of Covert, Michigan passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, Georgia.
She was born May 6, 1974 in Gary, Indiana to Gregory Wicker and Linda McClain. Ms. Wicker was employed at Ryan’s Grill and Buffet while also attending classes at Everest Institute for a career as a Patient Care Technician. Chenoa will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends.
Surviving Chenoa are her 6 beautiful children – Aquarius, Samekha, Nyrobia, Shamar, Asanta, and Malik all of Hampton, Georgia. Also surviving are her parents – Gregory Wicker of Gary, Indiana and Linda McClain of Benton Harbor, Michigan. Her siblings – Paris Lovick of Gary, Indiana, Jermaine Swope of South Haven, Michigan, and Wardrell Wicker of Lansing, Michigan. Special aunt - Millicent Hicks of Michigan City, Indiana. Special friend – Malik Foster-Bey of Hampton, Georgia. Close friends – Tasha Hall, Angie Clark, April Mahone, Toy-Mekian Davis and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 1:00 until service begins Saturday at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Chenoa Wicker Fund at Fifth Third Bank or Bank of America in care of Wardrell Wicker.
