Joseph Howell's Obituary
Joseph Howell Woodard, 73, of South Haven died Monday, November 10 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
He was born February 15, 1935 in Eufaula, Alabama to Dock and Mary Lee (Carmichael) Woodard. Joseph served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Viola Leadingham in 1967 in South Haven. Joseph worked as a laborer in construction. He was a member of the American Legion.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his wife – Viola Woodard who died in 1995. One brother – Bernard Woodard also precedes him.
He is survived by his 3 daughters – Jody Erickson and, Mary Woodard both of South Haven and Kathy Woodard of Indiana. One brother – Moose Mercado of Grand Junction, Michigan also survives.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 on Thursday, November 13 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Dureya Gibson officiating. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
