Warden's Obituary
Warden G. Robinson, 86, of South Haven died Thursday, September 11 at home.
He was born March 27, 1922 in Bradford, Arkansas to Henry and Eliza (McCoy) Robinson. Warden married A. Lorene Davis on September 18, 1938 in Lepanto, Arkansas. Warden was the owner and operator of the Gulf Station in South Haven for many years. Warden retired from Bohn Aluminum in 1988. He also was a farmer.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his wife – Lorene Robinson who died in 2007. 3 brothers and 4 sisters also precedes him.
He is survived by 3 sons – Howard (Ruby) Robinson, Stanley (Jean) Robinson both of Coloma, Michigan and Jerry (Faye) Robinson of Bangor, Maine. One daughter – Peggy (James) Smothers of South Haven, Michigan. 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. 2 sisters – Bonnie Metallo and Mabel Perry both of Paragould, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 13 from 10 – 11 at the Filbrandt family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Mr. Bruce Robinson officiating. Burial will take place at Fish Cemetery.
