Forrest's Obituary
Rev. Forrest Stoll, 78 of South Haven died on July 26, 2008 at home. He was born on January 8, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to Forrest and Dorothy (Miller) Stoll. Forrest married Frances Savage on June 7, 1952 at the Fuller Ave. Church of the Nazarene in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Forrest was a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and also Nazarene Theological Seminary. Forrest was a pastor for the Church of the Nazarene. He served churches in Pomeroy, Ohio, Clair, Vicksburg and Shaftsburg, Michigan. He did pulpit supply preaching through out Michigan and Florida and retired in 1993. He loved to read and was an avid collector of model HO trains. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in South Haven.
He is preceded in death by his son, Scott Stoll in 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Stoll of South Haven. Children – Bill Stoll of Grand Rapids, MI., Jerry (Kellee) Stoll and Annette (Ed) Douglas of Comstock Park, MI., Tom (Diane) Stoll and Sherry Johnson of South Haven, MI. and Nathan (Tana) Stoll of Wilson, North Carolina. 15 Grand children and 1 great-grandchild. One brother – Ronald (Leah) Stoll of Sunbury, Ohio.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 29th from 6-8 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 30th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Hollebrands officiating.
