Aileen's Obituary
Aileen Davis, 90, of South Haven passed away peacefully Thursday, June 26 at South Haven Community Hospital.
She was born June 15, 1918 in Hermitage, Arkansas to Katie (Brewer) and William Looper. The family moved to Brooksville, Florida. Aileen graduated from Brooksville High School in 1926. She married Claude Davis on September 30, 1939 and moved to South Haven, Michigan
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Claude Davis who died in 1991. Two brothers – Robert and K.G. Looper
She was a loving mother to George “Andy” (Judy) Davis of South Haven, Michigan. She also leaves 3 grandchildren- Mark A. Davis of Edgewater, MD, Kenneth M. (Fiancée Rita Gerling and daughter Shawna) Davis of South Haven, Michigan and Brian K. Davis of Algonac, Michigan. Great granddaughter – Hope Davis of Algonac, Michigan. One sister – Eula Mae Kingsbury of Glendale, Arizona and one brother – Charles (Leona) Looper of Tampa, Florida. Sister-in-laws – Joyce Otten and Grace Davis both of South Haven, Michigan and Ann Davis of Shelbyville, Michigan. Many nieces, nephews and special friends and neighbors also survive.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, from 1 - 2 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Curry Pikkart officiating. Burial will take place at Chambers Cemetery in Geneva Township.
