Lee Ann's Obituary

On Thursday, June 26, God called our loved one, LeeAnn Dibble to eternal rest and peace.

She was born October 18, 1941 in South Haven, Michigan to Loretta (Kuipers) Shafer and Cyrus Kuipers. LeeAnn’s favorite past time included long rides with her husband, watching many sunsets at the beach, spending time with her family, and baking hundreds of Christmas cookies for her family. LeeAnn retired after 28 years of hardworking and dedicated service to Scott Aviation in South Haven, Michigan. LeeAnn was a fun loving, caring person. She spent her life giving to her family and friends, always putting herself second. Her family has enjoyed sharing memories of LeeAnn on the dance floor, laughing, hanging thousands of Christmas lights on her house every year and her spaghetti casserole, but mostly how much she truly loved each and everyone of us.

She is preceded in death by her father – Cyrus Kuipers and step-father – Willis Shafer.

LeeAnn is survived by her loving husband and best friend - Morton Dibble of South Haven, Michigan. Two sons – Mark (Tammi) Dibble and Brian (Debbie) Dibble both of South Haven, Michigan. One daughter – Loretta (David) Haygood of Fairfield, Illinois. Mother – Loretta Shafer of South Haven, Michigan. 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Two sisters – Linda Holub of Fruitland Park, Florida, and Sharon (Butch) Gould, of Leesburg, Florida, and two brothers – Larry (Charlotte) Kuipers, Ronald (Barb) Kuipers of South Haven, Michigan, and good friends Don & Crystal Hodges of Scottsdale, Arizona.

A visitation will be Sunday June 29 from 6 - 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Carl Nisbet officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at P.O. Box 2031, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49003.
