Patricia Sinclair's Obituary

Patricia Sinclair Daggett, age 81, of South Haven died Sunday, May 4 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

She was born August 27, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to Leo and Elizabeth (Githens) Nunley. She married John Paul Daggett on October 25, 1944 in South Haven, Michigan.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her daughter - Mary Sinclair Daggett.

She is survived by her husband – John Daggett of South Haven. Two daughters – Cathryn (Tom) Thaler of South Haven, Michigan and Beverley (Gary) Kahne of Salem, Oregon. Two grandchildren – Sarah (Chris) Vest of Eugene, Oregon and Nick (Tish) Bild of Salem, Oregon. Four great-grandchildren – Ryan and Aaron Vest of Eugene, Oregon and Kailey Bild and Anthony Carlisle of Salem, Oregon.

In addition to caring for her family and home, she was an accomplished working artist. Her works were shown in many exhibits and galleries, and are in a number of private collections. Her most recognized piece is a bronze sculpture in the park of Saugatuck, Michigan which was commissioned to honor the puppeteer Burr Tilstrom. She also helped to bring traveling art show to the community of South Haven and shared her bronze casting expertise on the Michigan Art Train in South Haven.

There will be a private family memorial service and burial at Lakeview Cemetery, South Haven. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan or the Al-Van Humane Society, South Haven.
