Shirley Coleen's Obituary
Coleen Borden, 71, of Bangor died Monday, April 14 at South Haven Community Hospital.
She was born December 29, 1936 in Welch, West Virginia to Willie and Edna (McKinney) Reedy. Coleen married Rufus Borden on April 20, 1968 in Paw Paw, Michigan. Coleen worked at Freestones Pickle factory in Bangor. She also worked for EJ Thermal and Bangor Foods.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Rufus Borden who died December 18, 2002. Sister – Wilma Cole and brother – Ray Reedy
She is survived by two daughters - Renee (Shorty) VanWy of Grand Junction, Michigan., and Micci Doss of Lakeland, Florida. One son – Mike (Geneva) Wilson of South Haven, Michigan. 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Two brothers – Buddy (Dayle) Reedy of Brooksville, Florida and David (Judy) Reedy of North Wilkesboro, North Caroling.
Visitation will be from 3 – 5 on Thursday, April 17 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Dunn officiating.
