Ann's Obituary
Ann M. Hauri, 70, of South Haven died Monday, April 14 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born May 27, 1937 in Hemlock, Michigan to George John and Frances Eva (Waite) Stroebel. Ann married Jimmy D. Decker Sr. She worked at Camsco Mushroom Farm for 7 years. Ann was a member of Grace Apostolic Church of South Haven. Ann enjoyed the outdoors especially camping and fishing, going to yard sales and sewing.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Jimmy D. Decker who died in 2007. her son – Fred Hauri and daughter – Frances Klock. Four brothers – George Jr, Roger, Morley and Donald. Two sisters – Bessie and Mary also precedes her.
She is survived by two sons – Jimmy (Sue) Decker Jr. of South Haven and Cordis (Tracy) Decker of Pullman. Three daughters – Verna James of South Haven, Jody (Buddy) Levora of Bangor and Leann (Rob) Eisner of Lacota. 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Four brothers – Ronald (Marilyn) Stroebel and Fred (Donna) Stroebel both of Hemlock, Michigan and Ken (Sandy) Stroebel of Merrill, Michigan and John (Melody) Stroebel of Grand Junction, Michigan. Two sisters – Virginia (Delmer) Decker and JoAnn Bailey both of South Haven, Michigan.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 17 from 7 to 9 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 18 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Holt officiating. Burial will take place at Stephenson Cemetery.
