Lorie Quinn Seleski

Lorie Quinn Seleski, 35, of South Haven died suddenly Monday, June 11 from a freak tragic accident while walking in Geneva Township.

She was born May 19, 1972 in South Haven, Michigan to Doug and Carol (Hinz) Quinn. Lorie graduated from South Haven High School in 1990. She attended Lake Michigan College and then Chic University of Cosmetology in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Lorie owned and operated her own shop called Cuts on Track since 1997. Lorie married Mike Seleski on February 10, 2005 at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church where she is a member. Lorie’s first love and her first passion were her children. She was a giving and loving person. She was always willing to help others in need. Lorie loved her flower garden and took pride in her gardens.

She is survived by her husband – Mike Seleski of South Haven. One son – Nicholas Frank and one daughter - Cassandra Frank both of South Haven. Three step-children – Anthony, Hillary and Terra Seleski all of St. Joseph, Michigan. Her father – Doug (Sandy) Quinn of South Haven, mother – Carol (Ron) Hall of Bangor, Michigan. Four brothers – Tony (Aundria) Quinn of South Haven, Brant (Leslie) Quinn of Coloma, Adam (Wendy) Dykstra and Trevor Dykstra both of South Haven. Grandmother – Edith Hinz of South Haven. Four nieces – Kayla Quinn, Morgan Quinn, Elly Holmquist and Mellissa Holmquist. Several aunts and uncles also survive.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 on Thursday, June 14 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Memorial services will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Dean Beckwith officiating. Burial will take place in Lacota Cemetery.
