Phyllis Antoinette's Obituary
Phyllis A. Brenner, 73, of South Haven formerly of Cicero, Illinois died Tuesday, May 15 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born November 20, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Steve and Anna (Poganic) Prim. Phyllis married Stefan Brenner on June 5, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Phyllis worked for Edward Don Company in Chicago, Illinois for 18 years where she was a microfilm operator and record keeper. She and Stepan moved to South Haven in 1994. Phyllis worked at Arkins Card and Book Store for 7 years. Phyllis was a member of the St. Basil Catholic Church. Phyllis loved her cats and enjoyed going out to eat and playing cards.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by a brother – Steven Prim.
She is survived by her husband – Stefan Brenner of South Haven, Michigan. Son – John (Amy) Brenner of Middletown, Delaware. Daughter – Linda (Randy) Grabner of South Haven, Michigan. Five grandchildren – Amanda (Rob) VanLoenen, Stephanie Grabner, Randall Grabner, Johnny and Jared Brenner. Two great grandchildren – Abigail Grabner and Benjamin VanLoenen.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 17 from 6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Scripture services will begin at 7:30 PM A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. St. Basil Catholic Church with Rev. Father John Young officiating. Burial will take place at Monks Cemetery in Geneva Township. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Basil Catholic Church.
