Eric Alexander's Obituary
Eric Alexander Thomas, 31, of Detroit, MI, formerly of Covert and South Haven, MI died Thursday, April 26, 2007.
He was born March 31, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois to Adrian Fundukian and Cynthia-Thomas Barnes. Eric graduated from Covert High School in 1993, and attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College. He was the owner of :Fo Tha Chee$e”, A. Phezo Productions, based out of Detroit, MI. In addition to performing and producing his music, Eric enjoyed his children and customizing classic cars. Eric adored his family and loved a whole host of friends dearly.
He is survived by his son – Eric Thomas Jr., (6) of Kalamazoo, MI, (Dora Woodard). Two daughters – Erica Thomas (7) of Kalamazoo, MI (Dora Woodard) and Tia Thomas (9) of Coloma, MI, (Rita).- His mother – Cynthia (Phillip) Barnes III of Kalamazoo, MI, his father – Adrian Fundukian, of LasVegas, NV. One brother – Phillip James Barnes IV of Benton Harbor, MI. Two sisters – Desiree Jean Barnes of Kalamazoo, MI and Jeanette Nicole Barnes of Coco Beach, FL. One uncle, Leonard Thomas, of Kalamazoo, MI, his great-aunt, Mary Dyson, of Harvey, IL, a very special cousin – Theresa Thomas, and two special aunts Pamela and Karyn Mottley, all of Kalamazoo, MI along with many other cousins and close friends.
The visitation will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007, from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. at the Miracle Harvest Church in South Haven, MI. Funeral services will follow, from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m., with Pastor Tony Kuenzli officiating. The burial will take place at the Covert Cemetery.
