Charles Russell's Obituary
Charles Russell Barber, 60,of South Haven died Tuesday, April 17 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
He was born November 21, 1946 in Saugatuck, Michigan to Gordon Holden and Mary (Godsave) Barber. Charles worked as a laborer in Construction. Charles enjoyed the out of doors. He will be truly missed by all his family.
He is preceded in death by his father – Gordon Barber.
He is survived by two children – Robert (Jennifer) Barber of Bangor, Michigan and Robin (Carl) Barber Roy of Gobles, Michigan. Two step-children – Tamara of South Haven, Michigan and Jennifer of Coloma, Michigan. His mother – Mary Barber of South Haven, Michigan. Eleven grandchildren. Two brothers – Gordon J. Barber and Steven D. Barber both of South Haven, Michigan. His girlfriend of many years – Sue Hopson South Haven, Michigan.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 22 from 10 – 11 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A,M. at the funeral home.
