Thomas Allen Boone Jr., 42 of Covert passed away at his home on Friday, March 22, 2013 He was born on October 26, 1970 to Ramona Tugan and Thomas a. Boone Sr. and he was a resident of Covert, MI.
Tom is survived by his wife – Jeanette Boone of Covert, MI, his children – Abigail Collen Boone, 21, Tripper Thomas Allen (Chelsey Kerley, fiancee) Boone, 17, and Clayton Boone, 14, of Covert, MI. His mother - Ramona Tugan, his grandmother – Marilyn Clayton and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Thomas was a proud husband and father above all, and an avid car enthusiast, particularly of Ford Mustangs. He was a member of the Harford Seventh Day Adventist Church where he was the deputy director of his sons’ Pathfinders group and a collector of trivia of all kinds. Thomas graduated from Covert High School in 1988.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents – Roy Boone, Emma Boone and John Clayton. His step-father - Daniel Tugan and his father – Thomas A. Boone Sr.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 26, from 6-8 pm at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 27 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartford Seventh Day Adventist Church with Elder Douglas Clayton officiating. Burial will take place at Fish Cemetery, Covert Township.
