Marian Lyman

Marian Lyman, 96, of Casco Township, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Golden Orchards Assisted Living in Fennville. She was born September 16, 1916 in Casco to Thomas and Freda (Bodfish) Blanchard. Marian married Clyde Edwin Lyman on October 14, 1936 in Casco Township.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Clyde Lyman who died in 1999.

Marian is survived by her two daughters – Linda (Jerry) Nelson of Parma, Michigan and Kathleen (Jerry) Arnett of Saugatuck, Michigan; sister – Louise Hoyt of Galesburg; seven grand children – Lisa and Tim Williams of Saugatuck, Colleen and Jay Wininger of San Antonia, Texas, Melonie Ferrell of Douglas, Mark and Machelle Nelson of Dallas, Texas, Anita Nelson of Springport, Trina Peckman of Dallas, Texas and Rhonda Cvitkovic; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29 at 11:00 A.M.  at the Casco United Methodist Church with Rev. David Meister officiating.  Marian will be laid to rest at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township.
