Jack's Obituary

 

Jack Harold Page, 75, of Watervliet, passed away peacefully at his home with his family on July 29, 2013. Jack was born December 29, 1937 in Judsonia, Arkansas to Alley and Velma Page. Jack attended Benton Harbor High School and graduated in 1957. Jack served his country as a United States Marine. Jack married Darlene Muirhead in 1961. Jack lived in Coloma and Watervliet and worked for the Benton Harbor Police Department, Berrien County Sherriff Department, Coloma City and Coloma Township Chief of Police. Jack was a former Coloma Township Supervisor. Jack owned the Page Boy Orchard Farm and opened the Sugar Shack in 1982.

Jack was preceded in death along with his parents by his sister – Wencil “Winnie” Dill; Brother-in-law -Al Dill.

Survivors include his wife – Darlene Page; sons – Jack Page, Jr. and Jon (Karen) Page; daughter – Jill (Lance) Parrigin; grandchildren – Chad Page, Matthew (Casey) Page, Kaitlen Santarlas, Nicholas Santarlas; Donald and Diane Muirhead; Man’s best friend – Chloe.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Watervliet Free Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow visitation at 2:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Contributions may be made in Jack’s memory to Hospice at Home or to the Watervliet Free Methodist Church.
