Dorothy's Obituary
Dorothy Fay Quinn, 74, of Bangor, died on September 4th at her home under Hospice care. She was born February 15, 1939 to John and Margie (Lawson) Elliott in Bald Knob, Arkansas. She married Leo Quinn on May 17, 1963 in Searcy, Arkansas. Dorothy worked as an air screwdriver operator. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, embroidering, cross stitching and beading. Dorothy enjoyed camping in the Allegan Forest. Dorothy was a member of the Keeler General Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of fifty years – Leo Quinn; children – Rodney (Melissa) Quinn of Bangor, MI Pamela O’Neal of Bald Knob, Ark, Jimmy (Linda) Baswell of Bangor, MI, brother – John Gordon Elliott of Bald Knob, AR; two sisters – Mary Ann Page of Bangor, MI and Evelyn Cook of Bald Knob, AR. Seven grandchildren – Brandy Elliott, Lacy (Mauricio ) Baires, Cherry Magana, Matthew Baswell, Doris Baswell, Ciera ( Matthew) Tomsic and Jace Quinn. Twelve great grandchildren - Ethan and Dominic Elliott; Gabriel Muniz; Wilmer, Kelvin, Corina, Misael and Vladimir Baires; Miguel and Natalia Magano; Samual Karr and Addison Tomsic.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 7, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Manning officiating. Friends wishing to make a memorial contribution can do so to South Haven’s Hospice at Home.
