Roxanne's Obituary
Roxanne Lynn Resmer, 53, of South Haven, died at her home on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. She was born December 17, 1960 to Ronald Goodrich and Dixie (Barlow) Lerch in South Haven. Roxanne served her country in the United States Army during the Grenada Invasion. Roxanne earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Elks Club as well as the American Legion. Roxanne worked as the club manager at the American Legion. Roxanne loved golfing and enjoyed yard work and gardening. She married her husband Randy Resmer on March 30, 2006 in South Haven. Roxanne is a past commander for American Legion Post 49 and past commander for American Legion Michigan District 4.
Roxanne is survived along with her parents by her husband – Randy Resmer; children – Kelsey Barrett of South Haven and Blake Spurlock of San Antonio, Texas; one brother – Ronald Fultz of Navarre, Florida; two sisters – Kim Branch of South Haven and Robyn (Robert) Bray of Bangor. Three grandchildren also survive – Skylar, Lexi, and Tevin.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 AM with Pastor Theron Crawford officiating.
