Margaret's Obituary
Margaret Ileene Tripp, 97, of South Haven, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at home in South Haven. She was born March 5, 1918 to Harold and Helen (Woodhouse) Buck in Breedsville, Michigan. Margaret graduated from Breedsville high school in 1936. There were only 8 students in her graduating class. She married her husband, John Tripp on October 14, 1944 in Cullum, Alabama. Margaret worked as a cook for the South Haven Public Schools for 18 years before retiring in 1985.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Tripp, her son, Ronald Tripp, and her brother Harold Buck Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Greg) Dykstra of South Haven, MI, sister-in-law Pat Buck of South Haven, MI, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Virginia Heller officiating. Margaret will be buried at Lakeview Cemetery.
