Jeff's Obituary
Jeff Bowman, 52, of Covert, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. He was born December 17, 1962 to Bethel and Elaine (Sink) Bowman in South Haven. Jeff graduated from South Haven High School in 1983. Jeff worked as a blueberry harvester operator for Borden Blueberries for the past 15 years. He loved watching the sunset at the beach. He also enjoyed having bonfires.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his sister –Patricia Bowman.
Jeff is survived by his significant other – Brenda Gilliland Covert; children – Ashley Bowman of South Haven, Laney Bowman of Paw Paw, and Austin Bowman of Covert; step daughter – Brittany Gilliland; step son Nicholis Rathbun; siblings – Ray (Kathy) Bowman of Muskegon and Christopher (Tonya) Bowman of Bangor; grandchildren – Cheyenne Packard, Emily, Michael, and Nicholis Jr.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Graveside services will follow visitation at 2:00 P.M. at the Lakeview Cemetery with Pastor Tony Kuenzli officiating.
