Daniel's Obituary
Dan Thomas Moncrief, 68, of Ganges Township, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his home under Hospice care. He was born August 26, 1946 to Daniel and Mary (Schmidt) Moncrief in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Dan served his country in the United States Air Force from 1968 until 1986. He married Judy Clark on July 28, 1967 in Charlotte, MI. Following his career in the Air Force, Dan worked for the City of Mascoutah, Illinois and for the State of Michigan before fully retiring in 2008. He then transported cars for the Seelye Wright dealership part time in South Haven.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by two brothers – Jack and Bill Moncrief.
Dan is survived by his wife of 48 years – Judy Moncrief; two sons – Daniel (Stacey) Moncrief of Collinsville, Illinois and Steven Moncrief of Stevensville; four sisters – Anna, Katherine, Ruth, and Kay; four granddaughters – Jessie, Darlene, Elizabeth, and Sara.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
