Patricia's Obituary
Patricia Kaye Pope, 61, of Covert, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at her home under Hospice care. She was born October 20, 1953 to William DeHaan and Lillian (Truhn) Hostetler in Benton Harbor. Patricia was raised by her mother and step father – Howard Hostetler. She married Kenneth Pope on December 19, 1970. Patricia worked for Coloma Frozen Foods and Michigan Fruit Canners in Fennville. She enjoyed reading mysteries and watching mystery shows.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Kenneth Pope who passed in 1998 and sister – Valarie Odell who passed in 2002.
Patricia is survived by her children – Christopher Pope of South Haven and Deanna Pope of Covert and grandchildren – Lauren and Carson Pope. She is also survived by several step-siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Harris Cemetery in Hagar Township, Michigan.
