Peter Tyl Koeber

Peter Tyl Koeber, 74, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Mr. Koeber was assisted in his journey by the extraordinary Hospice at Home team members at home with his family. He was born July 11, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Theodore and Marian (Petertyl) Koeber. Peter graduated from North Park College in Illinois. Peter worked in international sales for Rand McNally Publishing Company. Later in his life, Peter enjoyed his association with Whole Foods in North Brook, Illinois. He also volunteered to lead tram tour guides at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. He later was co-owner of PowerTools for Kids, early education work books. He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed sailing.

He is survived by his wife –Mary (Sears) Koeber of South Haven; children – Pamela Koeber-Diebboll of Beacon, New York, Laura Pegoraro (Scott Heurich) of Des Plaines, Illinois, and Susan Niles of Libertyville, Illinois; grandchildren – Charlie Pat Niles and Meera Fay Diebboll; sister – Sue Chiado of Santa Fe, New Mexico; nieces – Julie Schrag and Lisa Salkind and nephew – Tom Chiado all of Seattle, Washington area.
