John's Obituary
John M. Nowak age 58 of South Haven died Friday, September 18, 2015 at his home. John was born August 26, 1957 in Poland to Stanley and Rita (Kniaz) Nowak. John married Theresa Krzeman on June 21, 1980 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bangor. John was a machinist and operated his own business, Spice Bush Machining. John was quite the handy man. He was able to fix anything and enjoyed repairing boats. In his free time, he loved to fish and invent various fishing gadgets. He was a member of the River Bend Boat Club. He will be truly missed by his many friends and family.
Surviving is his wife - Theresa Nowak of South Haven. Two daughters - Stephanie (Tom Tippy) Nowak and Christine Nowak. His parents - Stanley and Rita Nowak. Brother - Jim and three nieces. Uncle - Wesley Kniaz.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. The funeral service will begin at 7:30 following the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating. Friends wishing to make a memorial contribution can do so to the family.
