Brandon's Obituary
Brandon Alexander Sanford, 15, of Covert, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at his home. He was born October 5, 2001 to Courtney and Kimberly (Broyles) Brown in Grand Rapids. Brandon was an 8th grade student at Covert Public Schools. He was especially active in sports and enjoyed playing basketball and football. Brandon especially enjoyed drawing which was the love of his life. Brandon attended Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Covert.
He is survived by his parents – Courtney and Kimberly Brown of Covert; siblings – Dominick Simmons of Grand Rapids, Amelia Knight of Chicago, Illinois, Nathan Knight of Connecticut, Andre and Deandre Whitefield and Quinton Sanford all of Grand Rapids, and Ebony Sanford of South Haven.
Wake will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Lily of the Valley Church in Covert. Funeral services will follow the wake at 1:00 PM at the church with Bishop Darryl Williams officiating. Brandon will be laid to rest at Covert Cemetery.
