Corey's Obituary
Corey Aaron Crawford, 26, of Troy, Alabama, formerly of South Haven, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016. He was born August 10, 1989 to Tim and Nellie (Higgins) Crawford in South Haven. He married Desiree Godsave on May 8, 2010 in South Haven. Corey worked for Spurlock Iron and Scrap in Troy, Alabama. He enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his daughter, Lillian.
Corey is survived by his wife – Desiree Crawford of Troy, Alabama, daughter – Lillian Crawford, parents – Tim and Nellie Crawford of South Haven, siblings – Tara Monter of Sharon, Pennsylvania, Nicole (Phil) Quandt of South Haven, Derrick (Ashley) Crawford of South Haven, and Mellissa (Albert) Gaines of Coloma. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Skip Mazzucco officiating. Corey will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven. Contributions may be made in Corey’s memory to the Crawford Family, 1076 S. Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
