Bobby's Obituary

Bobby M. Pulliam, 80, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 27, 1935 to Albert and Estol (Jones) Pulliam in Parma, Missouri. Bobby married Mariann Williamson on January 15, 1971 at the First Congregational Church UCC in South Haven. Bobby worked at Bohn Aluminum, Wolverine Hardware, Lappo Lumber, and Overisel Lumber before his retirement in 1998. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Lions, and Michigan State Spartans.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings – Ruth Crawford and Glen Pulliam, granddaughter – Breeana Wakild and great granddaughter – Faith Nicole Kozlik.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 45 years – Mariann Pulliam of South Haven, children – Brooke (Matt) Bartels of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Terri Wakild and Tammy (Matt) Larson both of South Haven and Chris (Ronda) Wakild of Kalamazoo, sister – Betty Gully of South Haven, and grandchildren – Jon Larson, Tom (Abby) Larson, Jennifer Larson (Dan), Bradly Russell (Julie), Tim Larson, Megan Larson, Alicia (Paul) Russell, Tanya DeHollander, and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the First Congregational Church UCC in South Haven with Rev. Jeffrey S. Dick officiating. Bobby will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven. Contributions may be made in Bobby’s memory to the Pulliam Family, 1076 S. Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan.
