Charlotte's Obituary
Charlotte May Giesler, 85, of South Haven, passed away Friday, April 15. She was born June 5, 1930 to Walter and Mable (Keppler) Sherman in Genoa, Ohio. Charlotte married Robert Giesler on August 18, 1950 and enjoyed 49 years of marriage before his passing in 1999. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, South Haven Yacht Club. And very active in the South Haven community serving on the board of the Al-Van Humane Society and the Lake Michigan Maritime Museum. She was an owner of All Seasons Marine and active in the Michigan Boating Industry for the last 36 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Giesler.
Charlotte is survived by her children – Terrance (Michele), Timothy, and Todd (Angie) Giesler all of South Haven and Thomas (Sara) Giesler of Holland, sister – June (Don) Goetz of Helena, Ohio, and brother – Daryl (Betty Jo) Sherman of Elmore, Ohio. Also her grandchildren, Casey and Aaron Giesler (Sons of Timothy Giesler), Anna and Elle Giesler (daughters of Tom and Sara Giesler)
Visitation will be held 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Haven. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM at the church with Pastor Travis Wilson officiating. Charlotte will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven.
